I'm pregnant. I can't lift or pull up on anything. Thats why I gotta take it somewhere to get it done. I'm completely useless until this fucking kid decides to come out!

Look at the Packers. 48-25 over the Lions right now. the 24 points in the 4th quarter were off 3 interceptions in a row. Nothing like Taking a 2 game lead over the Vikings & Lions and 1 over the Bears.

Don't tell me your mom did some lifting before you came out!

-It may surprise you to know that the risk of heavy lifting in pregnancy is not injury to the baby but injury to the mother. Pregnancy hormones cause your ligaments to soften, which helps your pelvis widen to make room for childbirth. As a result of having softer ligaments, your joints may be less stable than usual and injury may be more likely. Dr. Spock

Late in pregnancy a woman’s ability to safely lift a load decreases, mostly because her center of gravity and balance have changed and additionally because the hormones of pregnancy have caused her connective tissue, ligaments and tendons to soften. So if she lifts a heavy load she can injure herself, but will probably do no harm to the pregnancy or the baby. There are no studies that show that lifting more than 25 pounds has an effect on birth weight or prematurity.
