Default My clear coat is coming off?

For the last year, there has been a little spot right next to my drivers side door that had a bubble of clearcoat popping up. Just kinda forgot about it and now it's grown. The little bubble popped and just expanded and about an inch of clear coat has come off. Now, when I get some more hours in at work, i'm considering getting it fixed but not sure what kinda price I would be looking at since it's only the clearcoat. What should I be looking at roughly to pay to get it fixed? I'll post pics soon.

Are you serious? So if I have about an inch in diameter of clearcoat gone, how much more would they have to repaint?

They might be able to blend an area...

They'll have to blend the whole rear 1/4 panel, and the door.

To fix it they'll have to sand down into the paint on a large portion of the area its in, then re-spray, then re-clear.

Youre looking at $700-$900 to get it done RIGHT at a GOOD bodyshop, labor isnt cheap.

Well, it could be worse. I mean, at least you're planning to repaint your car, right?

I can only hope that's a high estimate. Boy, I think I could barely pay $300 at most. I need to take pics here soon.

Me being a painter, PhntmSk8r
is right! $700-$900! Labor realy
isn't cheap! Probably, 50% of what
body shops charge, is a labor fee!
A car hit me on my fender and I went to go get
an estimate, $900! But since I did it myself, I only
spent $300! $600 in the wallet! Hehe!
