Default Painting Master Bedroom! (Opinions?)

Any opinions welcome. Just a crappy photoshop job for now. Just trying to get a feel for what I want. Also I'm still new to photo editing so if anyone can change the carpet in the bottom photo to tan or a different color they like please do. Also if anyone knows how to put hardwood flooring in the photo please do. Thanks.

I think if you also had light hardwood flooring, it would flow better too. Maybe a black or dark colored comforter as well....

Yeah I'm thinking maple hardwood. My comforter is black I just don't use it most of the time. Girl keeps the heat cranked at night. Guess I'll have to get a black blanket.

imo, i would recommend carpet, the long thick one where your toes sink in; if you get wood floors then you wont feel like your in the "bedroom."

also, as for the room, i would take it up a notch and let it have a more modern feel. for example, for your trimmings, make those maple wood, and the bottom half of the walls make that a dark forest green, and the upper wall, paint that a light pea green to give that warm natural comfort feeling. then possibly, change the drapes to match the dark forest green wall.

Wow dude that sounds pretty nice. Sound like a very comfortable room. What color would you use for carpet? The only reason I was thinking of going the route in the picture was because I wanted to brighten it up considering I work from home allot (not having to go into the office rocks). I really like the outdoors and that color scheme you suggested sounds really nice. You any good with photoshop. Would love to see this design.

i suck with photoshop, at a time, i was good, but that was in highschool. anyways for carpet, i would recommend a more dark silk tan/beige color. itll give it that all natural color and wont get dirty that easily.

now if you work from home, its more logical to get carpet, i mean.. i dont wanna have to hear your footsteps all the time and knowing your feet has no comfort underneath them. youll pretty much feel like your at work if you have tiles or wooden floors, imo.

lemme see if i can find pics of a room setup like the one i described.

ok.. if you really care about good paint.. go with Bennjamin Moore. Its the best paint ever. They just came out with a new line of paint called Aura, its simply the best paint they've ever made. its water born, even the colorants, it drys in less then an hour, its self-priming, and you wont need more then two coats. since its water born there's virtually no smell to it. they also brought out a new color pallet for Aura. its called the Afinity line. All these colors were disgned to match each other, no matter what colors you select. Aura is avaliable in satin, eggshell, or matte.

Eggshell is ideal of just about every room in your home. Ben Moore's Aura is not cheap paint tho. one gallon will cost you 54.99 one quart will cost you 18.99. I believe and stand by it, when they say the price is worth it, cause it is. I've personally use it and its AMAZING. i dont know if you rent or own, but i know that once i own a house, its getting painted with Ben Moore.

light beige walls with hazel brown bottom wood trimmings, brown comp desk, brown tv table, bed+sheets with all those colors above in it.

i have red walls and love it. red walls, maple hardwood, black (and some other wood) furniture. it goes very well with a couple tastefully arranged black and white photo's of ur car in black frames.

it's gonna be a pita to paint over if i ever want to change it, but oh well.
