Wouldn't it be easier for you if we just list the good ones?

and obviously nothing from autozone or any local auto stores. 95% of the ricers around my area use autozone exhaust with 6" tip.

ricers dont even bother with catback, thats mostly why their exhausts are so whinny. They just weld on a can to their existing piping. Just make sure you get some larger piping like 2.25 and you'll sound fine.

make sure to have at least one resonator. they absorb the raspiness. I dont know what sucks or is ricey, but get like a RSX type s oem muffler or itr or rsr exmag. i wouldnt get the N1 style. stock looking FTMFW I have the full ITR exhaust, (header, cat, b pipe, and muffler) and i love it. i noticed a power gain and better gas mileage. spend a little more and get quality

6'' tips, thats interesting. ricers in my area go with a 5''. you can just do what my friend did to my exhaust, 2.5 inch inlet on the ebay apexi n1, with reducers down to the stock size, i think theres like 3 reducers.. it's the nicest thing ever. i'd rather hear a baby screaming the whole time im driving than hear that exhaust. go with skunk2 or a twin loop, they sound real nice.

You know; for some odd reason my ebay exhaust doesn't sound raspy and like a squirrel.. Could it be my 3 cylinders of fury? It sounds strikingly a lot like my DSM's apexi n1. Ricer tips are usually 4.5'.

lol it's sarcasm. sometimes ebay exhausts dont sound raspy if you have a cat and resonators.

The one I got came with a resonator. I was thinking of removing my cat but adding another resonator in it's place. The exhaust for my DSM has 2 resonators and then the muffler. I think they've just started selling the one I bought for EF's? It's the tenrai

get a header and 2.25 all the way back. 1 resonator and then find rsr, apexi, tanabe super medallion, or a nice rsx-s axleback. You will not be dissapointed. Most exhaust places will charge less than 150 to run a custom exhaust. If they charge more tell them to eat a root!

my ebay muffler finally broke so next week i'm getting a custom 2'' cat back with magnaflow muffler. should sound badass. ive driven an EM1 with a flowmaster before, sounded nice but not ricey or raspy.. weird because flowmaster mufflers are chambered and not packed like magnaflows.
