Default Jake's Ex...Check It!

Ok. This is going to be a pretty interesting thread because I miraculously came in contact with the previous owner of the car via CC. Turns out he had a photo documentation of all the work he had done to the car previously. Here is what he did to the car during his period of ownership.

http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=93204

Well. I had the body repaired and a few months later I spun a bearing in the y8. Regretfully, I dropped a d15b in. (I really wish i had gone with a B18) ImportFan1 successfully stripped everything except...

DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Header
Skunk2 Single Bend Short Shifter
Energy Suspension Shifter Bushings
5Zigen Axle-Back Exhaust
High-Flow Cat Converter

Suspension~
Skunk2 Front Camber Kit
Speciality Products Rear Camber Kit
Skunk2 Coilovers
Koni Yellow Struts
OmniPower Rear LCA's

Interior~
JVC Head Unit (Jake Installed)
Clarion 61/2 Speakers (Jake Installed)
Pioneer 6x9 Speakers
MTX Audio dual 10" Subs (Jake Installed)
Rockford Wiring Kit
700 watt Pyramid Amp (Jake Installed)

ImportFan1-----Let me know if I missed anything.

Here are Pics that i already posted on a different thread:
http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=172401

Here is what I'm starting to do to it. :)
20% Tinting Front and Back

Also. Just ordered some new wheels and tires. :) Should be here in a week or so. And picking up OEM Taillights and a skund2 shift knob from ImportFan1 sometime in the near future.

Can I have my car back?

The Blox endlinks and bushings were part of the rear sway bar that are no longer on the car. Can't really stand the rear windows when people don't take the deck off to tint but oh well. Not bad. Its OEM taillights, not headlights.

In his defense I did strip the hell out of it and put on all my old, ghetto parts.

Ha. Why do you want your car back. You have moved on to bigger and better things. And I knew what I was thinking when I typed headlights, just came out wrong. Edited everything.

USDM EJ6 ouch

Give me a couple weeks. Ill get those "ghetto" rice tail lights off, along with the nasty wheels. Got a set of these coming my way in a week....

It's been a while since I updated but I met up with ImportFan today and bought the OEM tail lights. Put them on tonight and they look so much nicer than those old ricer tail lights. My wheels are scheduled to get here wednesday. Ill post some more pics then. It should look like a different car Thats what Im hoping for at least. :)

Welcome! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Take care of it like Mark did.

Oh and I have an authentic JDM Civic Type-R 22mm sway bar for sale that would work with those Blox endlinks and bushings if you might be interested. Its brand new in box and Its the same sway bar that he had on that civic before the accident.

Thanks man, but Mark stripped the endlinks and bushing after the last wreck he had with it. I might be looking at replacing them in the near future. If I do I might just hit you up for that sway bar.

And I definitely plan on taking care of it :) It's my baby. lol

Yeah. Sold the ASR brace, sway bar, and endlinks locally. He is getting back on track after what I did to it. I do have to say it was very different driving it yesterday. Not what I remembered.

What happened to getting Works? You bought knockoff instead? Also, you should lower before putting those wheels on. Don't go for the
4x4 look.

Anyways, looks like you're already on the right track. Keep it up.

Ha. The works are far too expensive for my 17 y/o budget. I saw those drag wheel's on one of the featured rides, only he has bronze. I bought Gunmetal. They should be in wednesday and Im giddy like a school girl to get them.

After The wheels I am looking at painting my side skirts and maybe buying a quiet performance exhaust like...

Thats cool man, just let me know.

And I think those wheels should look pretty cool on your coupe. Don't worry about then not being Work wheels. I know the feeling of a low budget sometimes. The next set of wheels I get will probably be Drag brand wheels or Rota's. I would prolly get some rare wheels, but don't want to risk damaging them due to the pot holes and stuff down here in Dayton.

Anyways, keep it up!
