What do you REV out at?

A buddy of mine had pretty much the same exact setup but he revs out around 9500 and has a stock TB and IM. He runs very low 14s.

Actually, there was ZERO motor work done to it. We just happen to be some of the very few people that get our ECU chipped/tuned around here for high rev and they last for a good long while. My buddies lasted up to around 100k miles or so until he cracked a bearing.

I happened to have a civic that had the same treatment that lasted roughly 80k miles. Still doesn't have a problem, just leaks oil =(

100k is low for a honda engine so thats not very good at all. dont be disappointed in your quarter times. heck i know a lot of turbo cars that barely run mid 14s so keep it up.

preload, and practice launching to get your 60 down... don't power shift, rev match instead...
I have a few more mods then that and run a 13.45
