This SUCKS!!!!

ok I got my EJ6 Hatch last friday.... well sunday at the 3 in the morning i left for vacation... i get back yesterday.... and went to check on my hatch.. and the f***ing CD Player and s*** is stolen... the climate control bezel was broke, the holder that sits beside the cd player was gone and one of the vents was out...

Aint that some s***...

Anyway, i am going to replace it all with CTR bezel and new CD Player...

but does anyone know of a good brand of car alarms? I dont want something cheap.. but i dont wanna spend like $1000 for an alarm system.... and i will still have to find somewhere to install it.

That sucks, hope everything works out for you. I personally would go with Viper they have always been good to me in the past.

Inconsiderate bastards. Viper is quality. $500 is a decent price with install.

Yeah, viper has always been the talk of the town for best cheaper system. but i would find a local installation shop and have them install though. its not worth saving the money and doing it yourself unless you are very skilled in that area. you can really mess stuff up with an alarm unless properly installed.

Does anyone know where i can find genuine CTR parts, besides password jdm, i need a CTR control bezel but i believe the only ones that have are for RHD civics

That's true. If I were you I would just pull the bezel from a junkyard and save myself some money.

ok i looked at viper products, and i dont see myself NEEDING a system that has remote start, it would be nice to have, but i dont think its a necessary. so i found one that is a 2-way system and its $299, it seems fair, and i will google local places that installs security systems,

Believe me i wouldnt try to do it myself, i mean i am very good with wires but still i dont want to chance it..

And i have checked eBay for parts, anywhere else?

haha... i live in Knoxville... there arent any junkyards with Civic Type R cars laying around.. lol. But i guess it wouldnt hurt to look

a car alarm wont keep your cd player from getting jacked... not having a cd player will however prevent it from not getting stolen, staying one step of the criminal is my game plan
