Default What is this?? Need help

I need to know what this is. It was mounted on my auto car where the clutch pedal bolts to. Am i going to need it or is it going to affect any thing with out it now that it is manual?? The sticker says contl (assy) interlock. I caint figure out how to get pics up but its a little blue box

Do you have a manual transmission converted from an automatic transmission?

I have a auto car converted to a manual. The block off plate for the clutch that the car orginaly has well this was bolted there but had to be removed for the clutch pedal

It's a safety switch that prevents the starter from cranking the the engine unless the clutch pedal is pushed down.

No your not getting what im saying. befor the clutch was ever put in the car where it whould have bolted if it were a manual car there is a little blue box there that says contl (assy) interlock on a cromb and blue sticker on front of it

sounds like hes talking about the control box for the old auto trans. the thing that stops you from removing your key when its not in park. you wont need it if that is the case.

Ok thanks guys. I hope i explaind that clear enought. It had like 8 wires that pluged into it. Will be a lot easyer to ask something like this whenever i figure out how to post pics.
