Default Mini Me Swap questions/help

1-Will the Mini me swap pass smog test..?
2- the correct Belt to be used for the y8 mini me is the y8??

ive looked on how to wire of the vtec to the ecu except the diagram i constantly see doesnt click to me... Are auto shops familar with Wiring up the vtec....

If i Toss the y8 Heads on can i drive around with out Vtec (i.e if i take it to a shop to wire it up)

also mentioned in tutorials since compression is i believe Higher i would need to start using better fuel.. i go to chevron so which fuel is recommended??

Future*** if i decide to build a DIY Turbo and get it Tuned properly, most likely by do it dyno, ... What is a safe amount that will allow my car to not melt the dx rods..

regarding driving without vtec, vtec only kicks in at 5500 rpm so you'll be fine im sure and i dont think its going to damage anything if its not wired up you just wont have vtec engaging

regular fuel is fine for it, honda engines aren't picky lol

take off the timing belt cover and you should see some marks line them and by turning the crank shaft pulley with a ratchet very slowly. gotta get under your car to do that. just lined everything up and im pretty sure your timing will be pretty close once you put the belt back on
