Power mirror and turn signal problem on 4 door
My girlfriend bought a 99 civic that came with the M3 style power mirrors with the integrated turn signals and they were in really bad shape so we replaced them with OEM style mirrors.
I removed the M3's and cut the extra wires that weren't connected to the stock harness and plugged the OEM mirrors in on both sides. Started up the car and neither side works. All the power windows except the front drivers side no longer work either. I checked all the fuses and found one blown so I replaced it, but it seems to have done nothing.
I also replaced the headlights with clear OEM style and noticed that the left turn signal flashes twice as fast now. The light blinks and the rear light blinks as well so it doesn't appear to be a short. I'm guessing the flasher is to blame?
I'm at a loss here so I'm hoping someone can give me some place to start. If you're in the San Diego area and can help I would be more than welcome to provide your favorite brew for the trip!
