it's a straight forward swap but sometimes you'll hit a snag with the the b**** pin, good luck with the swap op and keep us updated

Thee hardest part will be: Electrical.

Getting the H22 to run like it should, like how it runs on a Prelude. Like if it was a stock Prelude Vtec Si, with no malfunctioning lights. Making it pass emissions(having all the emissions system components work properly) like a stock Prelude will ( if your chassis is obd1, this might be easier to do then if it was obd2 chassis). Not only will the motor run like it was designed to, but you will get the intended miles per gallon. So, now you have TWO sets of wiring diagrams to work with. One from a Civic, and one from a Prelude.

Good luck.

if you think an h22 swap is hard, then how do you figure you have the chops to do a rwd swap?

going from D to H22 is definetly not an easy swap, not the hardest but not easy. you have to have a welder and cutter for some things, and the wiring is b****! just make sure you take it to the right place cause i've been f***ed over by people who dont know anything about chipping and tunning. Run a p28 with chrome though
