oh thats why they're there? shoot i should put them back on. lol. took the doors off so i could primer everything because i was going to change the color of the delsol. now that i've decided samba green (original color) i might just put the doors back on. but i've already scuffed the door jambs so it'll look bad. but not as bad as a color change with the original colors in the door jambs you know?

meh i dont think its that big of a deal, i used to hate the idea, but today that s*** is normal, like when people now intentionally pull the motor and paint the bay some f*cking retarded color combo.. just tell people you chose samba green as a retarded color combo and if your going with a factory green i doubt that it will be that far off.

Ya thats true. The green really grew on me and I don't think i'm a big fan of the whole mismatched color idea.

here are some quick primer pics i snapped this morning before work

Just surface rust. The repaint went smoothly. Sanding the paint before clear not so much. So I left a single coat of clear so if I feel like it later I can sand it off and fix it properly. It was such a pain in the ass to do tho I might just leave it.

Don't mock the paint job too much. it was my first time ever attempting to paint a car and i had basically no help besides google.

as requested here are pictars! enjoy! (and i bought the bumper with the holes already cut for the fogs. apparently if you look at the back there should be an area marked for you to cut tho. i got EDM aux lights, JDM fogs, JDM one piece lights for dirt cheap from the guy i bought the car from)
