Question 97 Civic EX ECU

Wondering Why My 1997 Civic EX ECU Will Not Plug into my 2000 Civic DX Hatch.... 2 Clips plug in the last one doesnt....

1997 ECU is OBD2a and 2000 harness is OBD2b. They are not compatible without a conversion harness.
