Default My Turbo setup as of now...

Im getting a kit put together by apex, max power T3/ T4 turbo, obx manifold and downpipe, tial waste gate, custom intercooler f***en huge, all custom fit pipeing, XS-RFL bov, FMU, In-tank high pressure fuel pump, and all the oil lines and such for like 1800 cause my friend is cool with a couple guys who work there. I think thats a f***en awesome deal, not really happy on the manifold but i will replace that in time.

Let me know what you guys think, i dont really know all the details yet because i havent got to talk with my friend very long but most likely getting it this comeing saturday. :)

a t3/4 on a b16 is gonna lag like a b****, not gonan be a fun street car. get a smaller turbo, you'll lose a bit in top end but you'll gain a few thousand rpm's of spool time.

It'll spool just fine, and be fine for daily driving. And yeah, definitely ditch that OBX manifold.

those Max Powers are liquid ball bearing turbo's, so spool up time shouldn't be all that bad. Go with the OBX manifold until it cracks. Then get something better. And trust me it WILL crack. 1. cause it's OBX. 2. because they make them out of stainless, which cracks.

Go with cast iron next time. They are ugly as f***, but they wont crack.

Yeah know it will crack sooner or later ill try support it a lil but with time it will still crack

Its a smaller trim so i think it will spool just fine. You guys hear anything bad about max power turbos? I think they are a newer company arent they?

that turbo will spool up fine. i have a t3/tO4 E w/ .63 trim and it perfect for street use. i would check on the inline pro manifold. its a ss manifold w/ a life time guarantee. they ship world wide. call stan @ 703-644-1788

1800 isnt all too bad. way better than the greddy kit that he was planning on doing :)

so youre going with a ic now? no heat exchanger and water-to-air cooler?

completely differant kit. This one is brand new the ohter had like 5 months use on it and i didnt really want to deal with the air to water. I like this setup much better 8)

And if your wondering when im getting it jake, this comeing weekend, this is the kit i was going to get. It was all put together by import power house i am told ,Custom Manifold, Custom Downpipe, Garret T3 Turbo, Tial BOV, Turbonetics Wastegate, Custom Air to water intercooler, Custom Front Mount Heat exchanger, all necessary water lines. probably more power but not really what i was looking for.

Ill take a look at it, the OBX actually has a lifetime on it to so ill see. Dont tubular manifolds spool quicker then log?

Where does yours spool at? .63 is pretty damn big i thought .60 was a little big.

.63 is big for a street car, not necessary. the tubular manis spool faster than a log, yes. obx is s***, i wouldnt advise buying even with the warranty. this is all coming as a kit??? how much?

Stainless tubular will spool slightly faster than a cast log style, but they crack. The log style, looks ugly, doesn't flow quite as much, but will last. For racing they use tubular stainless, and if it cracks, whatever, they chuck a new one on. The only stainless one I would even consider at this point, is the full-race one. Best manifold made by FAR, but it costs 1000 bucks http://www.full-race.com The full race one does actually reduce spool time, by 800 rpm according to super street.

Personally I'm going with a cast tubular design, kind of a trade off between the two types.
