Default Fuel Filter for EG6

My Idle is very erratic and would like to try replacing new fuel filter first.

Do you guys know where this filter is on a 92 vx?

Pics would be really, really appreciated.

thanks in advance.

dont got a pick off hand, but its on the firewall. should be the first thing you hit if after the battery if you follow the firewall from the passenger side towards the center of the car.

Ummmm, relieve the fuel pressure first. Or have 35 psi of gasoline spray in your eyes. Your choice.

the way my manual told me to do it is slowly unscrew the bolt. and just put shop rags on top of it. when I undid mine nothing shot out.

to releive gas pressure: Just unscrew the gas cap
and if no one has ever replaced the fuel filter they can be a pain to brake the bolts loose.
just my .02
