Torn balljoint boot
like the topic says, i recently discovered i have a small tear in the rubber boot that surrounds the balljoint on the lower control arm. Is this something to be conscerned about?

well soon it will probably be making a small clunking noise if it hasnt already. 25 buck for a new one at autozone or where ever.

the boot is $2.
Remove it, repack the balljoint, install new boot. Remove set ring  remove boot  repack joint and new boot...  make sure there is no grease on taperd part of ball joint stud or on the lip where boot seals...then install new boot and set ring.
