Question Code P0700

Well my sister's bf's 98 prelude threw a cel a month ago and we just reseted the ecu and it went away. today it came back and we went and got the obd2 code scanned. the reader read code P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction. What is that and how do we fix it? Thanks Guys!
