To all the tech's out there who take ASE, dont they suck! I took 2 of them, im pretty sure I passed both. But the questions where so stupid. An then I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the test and fat lil'b**** did everything but strip search me, she probably knew nothing about cars, too. damn ase's!

They're not so bad.... questions are just a little vague sometimes.... but never very hard as long as you read them carefully.

ASE and I-Car tests just annoy me!!! Technician A and Technician B need to find something better to do with their time!

But seriously... they aren't that hard.

Not just a little vague, very vague and yes you have to be very careful when you answer those question. My dealership paid my registration fees and test fees for me. I studied, good thing I did. I feel sorry for the people who didnt. I just think that a table full of fat ass service advisor's got toghether and made those test's up. People dont look for the ASE badge on your shoulder when the pull up to your shop, they just wanna know whats wrong with there car, what needs to be fixed and how much. But anyways I took them because unfortunately service managers aka service advisors look at them, and if I have those tools under my belt I can use those as bargaining tools for mo'money in the future.
