optical illusion
Stare at the dot for a few seconds. Then, without moving your eyes, move the mouse over the image. It will look like it's in color until you move your eyes.

hmm if you move the cursor off of the pic, it goes back to what it looked like originally even if you keep staring at the dot

i think the image changes when the cursor is over it. its still an illusion since the computer has no way of determining eye direction
