a stray kitty is in our bedroom!
i actually don't know if it's a stray. he's young and small but well fed. there's tons of abandoned cats in our apartment complex, and it seems several people feed them, 'cuz none are unhealthy.
but this one is super friendly. this is the second time he's come over to our apartment. last time he hopped in mine and my husbands lap and fell asleep.
so now he's running around exploring our bedroom.
dunno what we should do though. you think it's someones kitty? should we post little "found kitty" signs around the complex, let him go or what? :what:

yeah, no collar. his eyes are a little dirty, too... so it looks like he's been outside for a while. he's just too cute.

Awwww~!
Post a "found kitty" on craigslist?
Be sure to give the flyers (if you have any) to local shelters and pounds. even nearby vets. good luck!
any pics? :)

keep it... owners probably arent feeding it, neglecting it, or are just never at home. which is why the kitty found you

we let him back out. we have two other cats in the apartment... one of them just ran away 'cuz she's antisocial.. but the other one was getting mean. kept hissing at him and that. he was cool about it at first until we couldn't get her to go away. so he got a little freaked out and wanted back out.
he's well fed. i don't know if he's someones cat or what... there are about a half dozen potentially stray cats in this complex... they're all well fed. i think several tenants feed the kitties.

i like that idea. he can come in and get some chow if the other cats will leave him alone.
he was just staring at the ferrets... he was pretty fascinated... and one of the other kitties came up and started freaking on him. she's a meanie! then she got pissed at me and hissed and tried to scratch my foot 'cuz i tried to make her go away. silly cats.

torties are so beautiful. she's a pretty unique looking tortie, too.
chanel is soft! i call her fluffy. she always looks like she's showing off too. it's really cute. :D
Jagger hissed at Harvey when we first got him too. Also hissed at Noob when we first took him in (since brought him to the shelter since we couldn't take care of getting him fixed and getting rid of the worms he had which just wouldn't go away).
Jagger warmed up to both within a few days though. Jagger and Harvey play and follow each other everywhere in the house now.

took my black cat about 2 weeks to finally warm up to toast. now, she beats him up all the time and he is smitten. he tried to....you know but he didn't know what to do. good thing they are both fixed. :)

Nice..
This is kinda funny because just a week ago, the same sort of thing happened to me. I was in my dorm room at around 4 looking for some info on here after a late night gaming session when I felt something touch my leg. I was like WTF? and I looked down and there was this little puppy-miniature dog looking up at me. He couldnt have been any bigger than a 20 oz bottle. I was going to open my fridge and give him some food, but he ran off. I did find him though and gave him a hamburger to eat, and he gobbled that shit down in like 15 seconds flat ..

Their all beautiful cats.
Congrats on your new additions!
My cat "Sox aka Baby Cat" is stuck in Chicago with my ex until I can afford to get my own place and keep him with me. I miss him dearly.

booo. that sucks, connie. :(
sundown - i've never had a surprise puppy before. at our old apartment in washington, we usually left the window cracked because a heater or two was stuck on a permanenet ON. one night, i kinda start to stir in the middle of the night... it's like 3am... and i feel a depression in the bed. i'm thinking.. wtf?! but i'm still mostly asleep. then more moving and i wake up to find a cat inches in front of my damn face!
scariest freaking thing ever. she was a lover though.. jumped up in the bed, jumped in my lap when i got on the computer... kind roamed around checking stuff out. thought the ferrets were pretty cool... then just jumped back out the window. she popped in once more before morning. i have weird experiences with stray cats.
