Hey I'm driving to New Jersey with a friend to help her BF move back to STL, and while I'm there I'm going to swing up north to Plattsburgh to visit my gf for a day, and then back to STL.
I'm leaving friday after work and coming back late monday, so it's a short trip, but I've never been east of Indianapolis, besides Toronto, but that's a lot farther north.
If anyone is wondering I won't be driving my car, we're driving my friend's '05 Volvo S50, so much easier ride than my loud hatchie.
Just wanted to see if anyone had tips on road conditions, etc on my route. Any cool places to see on my way as well.
I'll be taking pics, so I'll post them in here. But it's going to be around 2500 miles in about 3 days lol...

I'm back home now, we left STL on sat @ 11am, got to NJ sometime arround 3am sunday, PA pike was closed and we took like a 100mi detour
Drove NJ to Plattsburgh early morning Sunday, roads were fine, the drive was all scenic
Yesterday got slowed down by snow in Buffalo on the way home, but other than that the trip was pretty interesting, didn't care for PA, WV was nice though, upstate NY was all mountains and turns, AWD volvo ran nice through there
might have some pics on here tonight

^^^ If you went from NJ to Plattsburgh, you drove RIGHT by my house. Exit 18/19 on I-87 (Adirondack Northway).
