I need someway of fastening my sideskirts to my car. I have screws in the front and back but the sides don't butt up to the body perfectly. Is there a special glue or something? Also i need some on the back bumper too because it sticks out on the side and there is a space. It can't be something that has hardly no strength because it takes 4-6 lbs. of pressure to get them pushed against the side. Thanks for any help you can offer.

If you kit is a rip-off of a good company, chances are it wont fit right, take ti to a body shop and have it cut to fit.

you can try some 3M double sided tape.

do sideskirts not just bolt on?

I thought about the double sided tape but i don't think it is strong enough....and yes they are bolted on just the part where they come in contact with the body they are sticking out like 1/2"-1" away from the body.

(i am friends w/ him and he lets me use all his shit and charges me nothin) its not a fitment issue its the fact that the sides stick out a little. I guess if it was perfectly fitted on then they wouldn't do that but i am not perfect lol

well those clips are on a 96-00 i know. they are huge white clips. if you look through the space you shoudl see them.they are about 5 inches give or take from the front corner of the rear bumper. mine was bulging out some there and since i have urethan i took a heat gun to it one i removed them and they shaped right back up. but since you do have a 5th gen, i do not know of they have the clips are not.

3M 2 sided tape they have tape that holds up to 25 lbs of pressure. But he only thing that worries me is that it being fiberglass that it might crack. Have you considered using filler on the sides?

since your getting shit for free, i say use a filler, then get it molded to the car. it'll look sweet.
