View Full Version : Walked all over an Integra.

Last week I was minding my own business driving my other car (non modified daily driver) when I notice an Integra coming from behind rather aggressively. I was glad to see that it appeared to be a Type R because I'm aching to show one my taillights in my 330xi. The Integra passes me on the left lane and gets stopped at a light. He is the first car in his lane, I am the second in mine however the car in front of me was turning. The light went green and the Integra took off aggressively, so as I ushered the car in front of me to turn quickly I noticed that near 25 mph the Integra slammed the gas. I followed suit and nearly instantly stopped his pull and started to run by him. At that point I realized that I was running way too hard from him for it to be a Type R and figured that it was a replica. So much for frying the Type R. (Yet)

330xi's are sweet cars and pretty quick. I love the torque of BMW's. I raced one in my 1992 Prelude Si once....pulled well on him but I had an Si with JDM H22A, and in the end he took that thing home to one of his hot wives and opened the box.....hahah Good kill!

I actually find it a bit weak. It will have an awsome launch over anything hence the AWD. But I find it's a dog in 1st and 2nd. My other car (modded GTP) will blow past it once it gets traction. I believe the 330xi runs low 15s to high 14s.

Low 15's???:???:

c'mon. My GS-R runs low 15s. Surely the 330 is faster than that isn't it? A 323 is about the same as my 'teg. I just assumed the 330 would dog a 323

The Type R in my neighborhood drives real slow all the time. I've never heard it get on the fun cam lobes at all. It is a mint condition real Type R though.

I did race a faux-Type-R. All the proper badging and rear spoiler...everything. Except it was on a 2nd gen 'teg with automatic. :bluelol:

330i/ci will run mid - high 14s all day long. It is a little faster than the xi.

LoL, I'd say something like low 16s, high 15s. However, any BMW that I've driven with "X-Drive" seems to lagg through the first few gears and then will shine in its top end.

Side note- Any of you miss me?

2000 BMW 323Ci

Engine 2.5-liter, DOHC, 24-valve, in-line 6 cylinder

Horsepower 170

Torque 181 lb feet

0-60 mph 6.5 seconds

1/4 mile 15 seconds @ 93 mph

One of my clients has a 323Ci with M3 wheels and badges. He talks smack about how exclusive and badass his "M3" is but his VIN and some other differences betray the true identity of his car....

He sure talks a lot of shit for someone who is afraid to race my wagon.

Yeah, it doesnt work when he had no clue why I made the comment in the first place. (He's jacking my statements)

The comment was a simple shot at the fact that someone in the financial situation as turbo95eg6, has an avatar with a dollar sign. Might as well change your name to Turbo-Money.

I find humor in the fact that a guy driving a car worth less than my watch has a money sign in his avatar.

I know, it's sick.
