honestly depends who the seller is who put it in, and if the hook up looks screwy, but if everything checks out heck it prolly runs twice as good then the original

It depends on the work and if it seems shady etc ... but I have no problem buying a swapped car

Depends if you could show proof that it was installed by a certified mechanic or at least inspected by one that checked it inside and out.

i would but like the rest said...it all depends on the person, the swap, the chassis...the cleanliness of the wiring/engine....all sorts of stuff...but in the end...yes i would

as every1 has said all depends on who did the work if you have paper work on the swap and if you did it yourself do u stand by your work and have you done a swap be4

Depends if it's all legit, done right, and looks decent.

But in the end, yes.

a home swap probably not. but i always get my potential cars checked out by some mechanics and if they gave the ok on it then i would get a swap. but i usually lean to a no. why do people swap engines? to go faster and drive hard lol

hes not sellin his car.. hes askin cause hes lookin to buy a swapped car cause he was a moron and put in another ecu and blew his motor so he could rev higher.. coutts.. honostly.. listen to people on TT.. instead of being out all the money for what car u have now.. get a swap.. make sure u have all the pieces you need for a complete swap and keep the coupe.. your wasting more money that really sholdnt be spent.

spend over 5-6k + for a decent swap in something that may need more work.
spend 2-3 grand on a full swap?

were not tellin you this at the meets everyweek and on the board to have u spend more money.. were suggestion this way to save you money.

no... maybe if it was a steal... .otherwise i can guess the car's probably been through some abuse, engine has been stressed constantly.... basically i know what i do with my cars, and i personally wouldnt buy a car from someone who drives like i do, who tries out stupid things etc. On the same note i still care of my car, it get its TLC... i keep up with maintenance as best as possible... (its not my car really)

i also would have more pride knowing that i saved up enough for a swap, watched it, learned something, bugged the shitt outta the person doing the swap... unless i learned enough to do it myself....

I doubt i would, unless I knew the owner of the vehicle and knew it wasnt beat to hell and back. I usually look at the throttle body to see if the throttle has been hammered on alot (leaves a dent on the tb)

i would depending on the condition of the car, just like if i would buy a non swapped car. no different.

most of them have been beat on like a motherfucker, done in backyards and ghetto rigged, but if it was an older more experienced driver, and he had a receipt for the swap, and the car was very clean perhaps, smog would be the issue for me here in cali
