New best time

Went to the track last night. Managed a new best time in the vette

60' - 2.122
1/8 - 8.515
1/8 - 86.759
1/4 - 13.082
1/4 - 108.108

I was a bit surprised. My last best time was a 13.2@107. So damn close to breaking into the 12's. I would have too, if i could have made another pass, but i was borrowing a helmet and he had to leave. Oh well, should be going back in a couple weeks and hopefully i'll break the 12's then.

Couple decent quick cars out there. An srt 8 and srt 6 running 12.60's. Couple srt 4's in the 13's. A couple mustangs hitting low 12's, high 11's too. There were a ton of trucks out as well, but most were slow as fuck. One or two were high 12's though.

Can't wait to get my mustang finished. Should be running mid 11's, if i can ever get some traction :mrgreen:

I was a bit angry after i got that timeslip though. So damn close to 12's. I was supposed to throw on my buddys dr's before we left too, but ran out of time. If i had had those drag radials on the car i definitely would have hit 12's.

man... you should be able to run a bit faster still.

i run 12.4 @ 106 in my fox body stang all motor, so with your MPH you should run about the same with good launch and traction.

Minor bolt ons only. Still running the stock runflats too (complete and utter shit tires)

Kooks longtube headers, B&B PRT catback, LS6 intake, and blackwing filter.

There was an 03 vette with only a filter and tune who hit a 12.98 @ 106 running DR's.

Nitto drag radials.
all i rember is 1.6sec 60' time and the 12.4 @ 106mph... got a new notch instead of a hatch so i dont have any old time slips:???: new shell will be streetable and possibly adding nitrous to hit 10's;)

haha. Don't mind the thread jack, and it isn't too off topic anyway.

I run Nittos on my mustang. Good tire. Not exactly the best drag radial, but it does stick pretty damn well and does quite well on the street, which can't be said for some of the other brands.

Damn.. Impressive and nice :thumbs up. DR's would've definitely put you in 12's. Definitely should get some after looking at your 60' ;).
