does anyone have any clue what the avg. price is for either a beagle or a boxer?

Now i'm all for adopting, but i'm specific about what i want, so if they dont have any, i'm gonna look to buy.

I think I've seen boxers go for 300 and up with papers. You can find beagles at rescue leagues all day long.

dont forget to include immunization shots, license, and some other stuff that you have to get done when you first get a pet

well my parents aren't huge on the idea of me getting a dog cuz my mom is really allergic to dogs and cats so when i come home during the summers the pup would come with me so i guess i gotta wait another year or so

good decision dude, i honestly have wanted a dog since i moved out 3 years ago. they say that the first week you get a dog you have to do all those things the law requires which is about $1000. that doesnt even include the price of the pet. then on top of that you have to take it to the vet 2x a year and pray it doesnt get really sick with an infection or disease that will just tear a hole in your pocket

My dog went to the vet ONCE to get fixed, that's it.

Got the Dog for free from the Shelter. Paid 30 for shots, 50 for tags.

theres a website where breeders sell puppies and ship them also, for extremely cheap. I got a pomeranian puppy at 16 weeks old shipped to me from texas (i'm in new york) with all his shots and papers all for $500, meanwhile I've seen them for sale locally for close to $3000... so to all looking to buy any kind of animal go to WWW.HOOBLY.COM

WTF?

Shipping them.. Across country?

Isn't that illegal?

Plus, why would I put the dog through that much stress and possible injuries?

they are taken care of VERY carefully and is is fully LEGAL as long as the puppy is older than 16 weeks (i believe) and if the dog is sedated slightly they will not be stressed.

I think I would rather see the dogs parents and their surroundings before paying that kind of money for a dog or any animal.

the internet has blow up the market for dogs. you can get any dog for any price. but due to internet sales. prices have gone way up. we got a black lab with papers and everything for 200 bux through the news paper.
the dog lived 14 years. we picked up a basset out of the paper....same deal but for 300 bux. you cant find a basset online for under 500. my english springer came from a pet store. papers. akc registered. 900 bux. but hes turned out to be worth it. best dog i own.

look in the paper for dogs man. most times... they are local.... and you can see them before you buy them. play with them, see how they act. usually you get a good deal from newspaper dogs. and if theres any problems.. you know where the breeder lives. and you can rule out breeder problems if thats the case cause youve seen the way they were raised.

Purebreds FTL

gene pool is so small that they often have genetic problems.

Now that some Beagle has won the dog show, those dogs are going to be inbred relentlessly.

Go to the shelter and rescue some deserving, loyal, and intelligent dog.
