Didnt know wereelse to post this
Names roman friends call me rom. i know this is my first post but no one can answer serously can you guys help?....if possible people who do time attacks or others simialr races please put your input....im having a hard time figuring out which one i should get:
1)1992 Honda Civic Hatchback (Dx model) - currently own - EG
2)1996 Honda Civic Hatchback (Cx model) - EK
3)1994 Acura Integra (RS model) - DC2

Im really intersted in doing time attacks and represent the FF very well for the honda blood line...
1)which would have better weight distribution out of the three?
2)with modifications to all three which would handel better in high speed corners,striaghts,etc...meaning having it all for the time attack course
3)what are the weight distribution specs on all three if possible?
4)in the end which is best for time attacks?

Im definitely going to pick one of three then can keep it for years to come...but since im really going to do the time attack thing and dont want to keep switching back and forth...i want to figure out which would hold out best....understand?please respond well...dont tell me the car just looks good...
thank you and your help is greatly appreciated

Howdy! Welcome!

my personal reference, i would chose the 6g hatch and swap in a ITR, mild build for N/A, not fully built though.. beef up the suspension, strip most of the interior. move up to a big break kit, with some sticky icky tires.

reason for these things

6g hatch - light weight with good aerodynamics
ITR swap - keep it high comp, and short gears
mild build - because if you fully build the motor, you get decrease in mpg as well
suspension + brakes + tires - always always always a must, you have to keep the car at ground level centered of gravity. tires must always stay on the ground, and time attack does require alot of braking as well as speed

*these are all based on my personal opinion.

well from my point of view, yes the 5g hatch is LIGHTER, but i prefer the 6g because of the height of the car and the aerodynamics of the body. it has drag (i dont know what the technical term is), or is it downforce? whatever. anyways if you go around a big circle or turn, youll need "downforce" (i think thats the right term for the situation), so your car doesnt over/under steer and loose control. youll have more center of gravity and can withstand the turn with ease.

now, all the cars are capable of doing this with the proper modifications, but i just prefer the 6g kuz of the looks ;)
