some hondas come with seat belt buckles that have a sensor in them that tells the car if your seat belt is plugged in or not. this is the same connector that honda uses for the ECU service connector. so, next time you're in the junk yard, cut one of these off the seatbelt buckle, bridge the two wires, and throw it in your glovebox. now you have the exact right connector to use for your service check! no more paperclips! no more bobby pins! you've got the way to do it right!

Window motors use the same connector as well.

cool. the funny thing is that might be easier to find in my local junkyard than seats. every honda there has the interior ripped out of it, so it'd be walking over with wire cutters.

i've always wanted to just get a new clip from radioshack and do the same thing. never knew honda made female clips for them. kinda silly they wouldnt make it easier to jump the connector.
I was always planning on keeping like 10" of wire on the jumper and running the wires between the two on the existing clip. that way its always near the jumper connector when u need it.
i've also thought about removing the connector completely and putting a toggle switch in its place. just flip the switch to test.
