Call Of Duty: World at War

Ok just saw this so I wanted to share. I figured I'd start a new thread instead of putting it in the COD4 thread. There looks to be a new COD coming out. It's official title is COD:World at War. Made by Treyarch instead of Infinity Ward, and this one will be more of a WW2 game unlike COD4.

There's no way it'll be as good as Modern Warfare. Treyarch is making it instead of IW. They also made COD3 and 1 which were both pretty gay.

There's also gonna be 4 player co-op and other stuff I can't remember. There's a pretty slick trailer on XBOX live.

Yea I've heard that Treyarch sucks. I think I had COD3 and I played it for 5 minutes and then stopped. I also think that the whole WW2 theme is getting played out

It definitely is. Way too many companies are doing it over and over again.

Yup yup, the WWII thing has been played to death. It might be slick with next gen graphics, but seriously how many times can you shoot the Thompson, BAR, and Garand before it gets oooold. And yeah, never playd COD3 but heard it sucked ass from nearly every review I've read.

EDIT: The trailer does look quite bad ass, though.

I'll be honest, COD3 single player was alright but the multi player sucked. I don't think there's no way in hell that it will be nearly as good as COD4.

While it is being made by the company that made 3, they are using a near identical format to COD4. As far as control, graphics, AI, and multi player it should be comparable, if not better that the current game, and if done right it will be a nice change of pace.

If done wrong, it will def be trash.

That's true. I've beated the single player and it wasn't that bad. There were some cool things to do . I just hope this one isn't the same old M1 Garand/KAR and the thompson/MP40 BS, it gets pretty mundane using the same four guns over and over and over again.

^^ I think it's because IW takes their time with their releases.

They started making COD4 RIGHT after they finished COD2 which was four years (I think). On the other hand, Activision are nothing but a bunch of money hungry garbage pushers.
