not a boost leak(cause its only in first gear)
but i may think its your tranny, cause in first gear there is a low load compared to higher gears. I would say rack it, and have some one go from 0 to 25 to 20, 15, 20, 5, 0 and again. i bet you its just the tranny.

Ive read that aftermarket manifolds tend to whistle like that, but i dont have much experience with them.

I still think its the tranny, happens ALOT....but you may have an exhaust leak around the manifold area too i guess.

so i lifted my car. put it in 1st,2,3,4,5 gear i cant even hear that sound. only when iim on the road i guess...tranny huh? what could go wrong with the tranny? drive train?

well that is weird.

What happens A LOT of the time is that the tranny gears are so used(or ABUSED) that when you are throwing all that power down so quick they tend to squeal. but the other thing that I am thinking is that the clutch may not be the greatest that you are running...might be a tad bit used or something along those lines.

So far your problem is when the car is on the ground. not your exhaust cause it goes away in the air. So it HAS to be something with the tranny.

synchronizer......lol....maybe.....but check your exhaust...all of it.....even though it only happens in certain gears, it could be a small leak....but maybe you should find a buddy that knows hondas up and down to lend a hand

If your losing boost with that sounds, check all your bolts are tightened and couplers, you definitely have a boost leak.

Yes found out whats that sound. my intake pipe was freakin scratching the throttle body. And yes! i got my ARP head studs!

Okay motor is out. Gotta take the tranny to ACURA dealer on monday. My cousin got the hook up to do my sycrhonizer ring. Will post picture up when i get the chance. also pull up on some Carbon sycrhonizer ring. 1-5 gears. As far as hiding wire. it will come down when my motor is done. almost done =P waiting..waiting..waiting..
