They don't make a B16Y8 but they do make a D16Y8.... If you mean that then yes go with the D16Y8 cause it has Vtec and has an endless possibilities on building it.

I've owned one.... They can become pretty stout.


Here's the best website I've found on the possibilities on building a D-Series..... It has just about all the ways of building other than buying the "name brands"... Hope this helps!

D series suck IMO, but if you must, turbo the d16y8......


otherwise, save for a K swap.......or maybe a turbo B series, (the next best thing)...
