Im new on here

Whats up, ive been looking for a good forum to be my home and i am really liking what im seeing on here.
Ive got a 2000 Civic Si, it was riced out really bad when i got it and ive jus been trying to return it to its glory,
so its got ex tails, and no si lip but its a true si. Ive still got a long way to go to getting it back the way it was.
But just wanted to say hi to everybody and introduce my self.

The front bumper that it came with isnt half bad, the tsunami bumper i think it is. Just those side skirts....but good job on trying to restore it back to OEM status. :thumbup:

I agree. The Tsunami side skirts are dope combined with the front bumper. OP hope you kept the bumper.

doesnt... just curious. and im pretty sure im not going to drive all the way across the country to steal a civic when i have one in my driveway. i mean yea i can see there is a b series motor in there, but it could have been swapped in. if the previous owner had the money and the time to rice it up like he did, who says he couldnt have swapped a b into there. just making sure were have a legit em1 on our hands. honestly i wouldnt have even cared if he took a pic and blurred out everything but the em1.

Who cares. It's an em1. We don't need to have "proof" of every em1 that comes along on the site.

Good job man, I think those wheels actually look pretty good on there once you get everything back to OEM spec. Keep goin pretty soon you'll have a sick EM1. Feels good to save a vehicle from a ricey death doesn't it?

i dont see the need to ask the same questions that have been asked and answered already. i already said it doesnt matter and i was just curious. "on our hands" is an expression and i meant it as in what i and we are looking at. I'm not going to say or do anything about it, i'm just curious as to what the pervious owner had in his mind. OP said he was new and so i figured maybe he looked at the engine, saw a b series and automatically assumed it was an si... I'm in no way saying his car is something it isnt, just as i already said... was WONDERING, i was CURIOUS... to know what the PREVIOUS owner had done exactly (either ruined a perfectly good em1 or ruined a perfectly good ej8 cosmetically but upgraded it mechanically)

If OP says yea its a real em1, i wouldn't say he's a liar.
