cool man....what kind of exhaust?
I don't know if I want to go fogs. I think it looks sorta weird with so many lights on the car. I'll be doing fenders with sidemarkers, eventually, too many lights make it look like a spaceship.

Headlights were done with 320, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit sand paper, turtle wax rubbing compround and plastix plastic polish
ugh ctr lip ftl...
thank you for the constructive criticism...
...my CTR style lip came in today, but only came with four screws, two for each side where it bolts into each end of the bumper in the wheel well. What kind of stuff should I get to mount it? I'd like to use the factory mounting points if possible. I'd like to hear from people who have had to attach a lip without supplied mounting pieces.
thanks guys

a lot of people have used 3M double sided tape.
I was going to too, but I intend to pain the lip after I get new rims. In my experience that double sided tape is very strong and I don't want to risk warping the lip when I pull it back off for paint.

shoulda bought a quality lip...
shoulda bought a quality lip...
because this one didn't come with hardware? Or because you think I've got loads of cash to spend on a "quality" lip which would, in reality, be far less durable than this one.
I'll save you the trouble, my car is not good enough for you, nor is it worth your time to flame me, nor worth my time to get flamed by you.
Stay out of my thread.

No quality means not a knockoff.
Doesn't matter. CTR style lip is on, looks great. Ordered a Buddy Club Pro Spec this morning.

not bad bro. Definitely get a lip and maybe some fog lights
Lip is on already, just not taking pictures until there's nice weather, it keeps snowing. I'm iffy on the fog lights, I've always thought it makes a car look off balance to have so many lights on the front, but we'll see.
thanks everyone.

It's already lowered. I'll be lowering it more on coilovers eventually. I decided to go CTR style because its more subtle than Mugen style. I like both though, this is just the one I decided on.

type R > mugen style if u wanna go knockoff route :thumbs up at least, it looks closer to Si front lip. Mugen style lip looks fat & ugly. it damaged my bumper after I took it off. & get ABS if u wanna paint it.

Car is coming along man, keep up the good work.. just color match the lip and youll be good. any other plans?
The lip is urethane, is it ok to paint? After I get new rims, I'm going to paint both the lip and side skirts. I should have my Buddy Club Pro Spec exhaust in any day now. I think after that I'm getting a new strut tower bar and I'll be selling the one I've got. CTR style fenders. Rims/tires and coilovers eventually, new seats sometime. Also, fixing the rear passenger side quarter panel dent. After all that, just gonna keep going until I'm satisfied.

Word. I just did those last weekend and cutting up the fenders really isn't that bad. If you've got the money, buying the fenders would be a lot less work though.
they're not too expensive from Password:JDM so that's what I'mmo do when its time
Buddy Club should be here on Tuesday

No band clamp hanger though. I asked before I bought it if it came with the clamp and they said yes. I called to tell them they didn't send me one and they said its no longer included.

Nice clean ride bro
I washed, vacuumed and cleaned my car out today. I was going to get pictures, though nothing has changed, just to add to the thread. My camera died after only the first picture, which really isn't any different than the last picture I put on this thread. New plates though.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/Bjdavlin/100_5618.jpg
Currently saving up for a DC Sports Cat-back exhaust system, I'll also be getting a short shifter (probably B&M) to put on when I change exhausts. After that I'll be saving up for new rims and tires, 16in CP-R replicas most likely.
Nothing important, just a few more pictures.

Car is coming along nicely... what are you going to do about wheels in the future? or are you just gunna roll on those? overall, you are off to a great start..
Most likely white CP-R replicas. I know I know...they'll be fake and its been done before, but I've always loved the Sprint Harts and I'd never be able to afford real ones.

nice... oh yea, you should just clear coat your headlights if you get the chance to. it lasts a lot longer than polishing every now and then.

Nice nice dude, been following your thread on JDMU. This car was riced out before right??
That front lip looks good, cant wait to see it painted. Make sure you prep and primer it or the paint will fall off like it did on mine.
And yes, your car DUMPED on some CP-R replicas would look sickkk.

Yeah it had stickers on the fenders, all bright red console and gauge and everything, stickers in the bay and stuff...I was also told that it was at one time slammed 5in...which probably explains why I have no fender liners. Can I paint a polyurethane lip?
Polished would look pretty spiffy too:

Your car is coming along nicely though dude.
No, I haven't seen that yet. When you posted that you bought a hatch, I was insane with jealous rage. I've always, always wanted a hatch, but I keep settling for other models. Someday...someday...

Whats next for your whip?
Pfffff. It'll be another year and a half before this one is paid off. Although there is a CRX for sale locally that I've thought about calling on, maybe I can get for hella cheap...But I keep telling myself the next car I get, no matter what, will be either a 5th or 6th gen hatch.
More or less what my exhaust is going to look like...
