when i go out to start my car for the first time of the day it will start just fine but when i drive for a while and shut it off it will not start for a min it will start then die a few times then it will start when it dies the cluster lights will shut off to

1.turn on your head light see if the lights are still bright?
2.does your car still crank?
3. check for rust on battery and on ground

like he said, check for rust. I was just having problems starter problems with my car and I just cleaned up the wires and its working great now!

i have checked the grounds and cleaned the cables and yes it cranks it will start for a second the die thats when the dash lights go out but the headunit is still on thanks for the help
