Ok. This is going to be a pretty interesting thread because I miraculously came in contact with the previous owner of the car via CC. Turns out he had a photo documentation of all the work he had done to the car previously. Here is what he did to the car during his period of ownership.

http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=93204

Well. I had the body repaired and a few months later I spun a bearing in the y8. Regretfully, I dropped a d15b in. (I really wish i had gone with a B18) ImportFan1 successfully stripped everything except...

DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Header
Skunk2 Single Bend Short Shifter
Energy Suspension Shifter Bushings
5Zigen Axle-Back Exhaust
High-Flow Cat Converter

Suspension~
Skunk2 Front Camber Kit
Speciality Products Rear Camber Kit
Skunk2 Coilovers
Koni Yellow Struts
OmniPower Rear LCA's

Interior~
JVC Head Unit (Jake Installed)
Clarion 61/2 Speakers (Jake Installed)
Pioneer 6x9 Speakers
MTX Audio dual 10" Subs (Jake Installed)
Rockford Wiring Kit
700 watt Pyramid Amp (Jake Installed)

ImportFan1-----Let me know if I missed anything.

Here are Pics that i already posted on a different thread:

Can I have my car back?

The Blox endlinks and bushings were part of the rear sway bar that are no longer on the car. Can't really stand the rear windows when people don't take the deck off to tint but oh well. Not bad. Its OEM taillights, not headlights.

Ha. Why do you want your car back. You have moved on to bigger and better things. And I knew what I was thinking when I typed headlights, just came out wrong. Edited everything.

USDM EJ6 ouch

Give me a couple weeks. Ill get those "ghetto" rice tail lights off, along with the nasty wheels. Got a set of these coming my way in a week....

It's been a while since I updated but I met up with ImportFan today and bought the OEM tail lights. Put them on tonight and they look so much nicer than those old ricer tail lights. My wheels are scheduled to get here wednesday. Ill post some more pics then. It should look like a different car Thats what Im hoping for at least. :)

Welcome! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Take care of it like Mark did.

Oh and I have an authentic JDM Civic Type-R 22mm sway bar for sale that would work with those Blox endlinks and bushings if you might be interested. Its brand new in box and Its the same sway bar that he had on that civic before the accident.

Thanks man, but Mark stripped the endlinks and bushing after the last wreck he had with it. I might be looking at replacing them in the near future. If I do I might just hit you up for that sway bar.

And I definitely plan on taking care of it :) It's my baby. lol

What happened to getting Works? You bought knockoff instead? Also, you should lower before putting those wheels on. Don't go for the

Anyways, looks like you're already on the right track. Keep it up.

Ha. The works are far too expensive for my 17 y/o budget. I saw those drag wheel's on one of the featured rides, only he has bronze. I bought Gunmetal. They should be in wednesday and Im giddy like a school girl to get them.

After The wheels I am looking at painting my side skirts and maybe buying a quiet performance exhaust like...

Thats cool man, just let me know.

And I think those wheels should look pretty cool on your coupe. Don't worry about then not being Work wheels. I know the feeling of a low budget sometimes. The next set of wheels I get will probably be Drag brand wheels or Rota's. I would prolly get some rare wheels, but don't want to risk damaging them due to the pot holes and stuff down here in Dayton.

Anyways, keep it up!

So after having two companies call and say the wheels and tires I ordered were out of stock or back ordered I finally got my new set drag dr31's in today. I was digging trenches in our landscaping when I heard the UPS truck come up the driveway and ran to meet him. You have to understand, this is my first big purchase for my civic (you may not even consider it big) and I was giddy to finally get them.

So I stopped everything I was doing and put them on. :D I also installed my new OEM tail lights this past sunday after meeting with ImportFan1.

Heres some pic's....

Well, for one, my car is hideously dirty and i really dont wanna spend any time washing it for pics right now bc there is construction on my little road and they are throwing dirt everywhere. Two, I got out there to lower it and realized I just had all my wheels aligned. Will lowering it more effect the camber enough to matter. I dont know how to adjust the camber accurately myself.

What do you think about a painted front lip, along with painted side skirts? Because Im thinking about doing both soon.
And it's cool. IMO I think glossy black looks cheap and ghetto. Idk why. I know most glossy black rims arent cheap. Im just not a huge fan of super shiny. I dont really like chrome either. If I had picked another color it would have been bronze. :)

If I were in your shoes, I would get the OEM SiR lip. Its not too expensive and is OEM quality. With that lip, I would leave it unpainted, but maybe paint the rocker panels (side skirts). Besides that lip, my next choice would be a Mugen replica paint matched along with the side skirts. Im not a fan of the Type R Style lip on the 96-98 front ends. Just my input.

Haha. I will go noo lower on this suspension. I did lower it a bit more right before this and it rubbed on all the back roads. It was really annoying so i took it up a half inch or so.

Haha. There are two little chips where the bumper meets the quarter panel on that pic and they bug me. But its ok. Ill count my blessing and be thankful for no rust or any major scratches.

Just a little thing. But I try to do a little something a day. I finally sanded down the brake drums and painted them black.

I looks alot cleaner behind the wheel.

Just one off ebay. The seller sad it was JDM. Im not even certain there were any JDM CAI's lol. Let me know if there were. I really got it because I was bored and it was cheap. Im just interested in the different type of throttle response I might get and maybe mpg?? Just wanted to do a "test" i guess. It was like $40. lol

Well crap. I know JDM isnt a brand. I didnt mean for that to sound that way:oops:

Why would I paint the drums red? Are you trying to make fun of me or something?

Dont foget to switch the filter out for an AEM filter.

THose ebay pipes will do the job just fine, but the filter does not filter anything.

:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:: shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

I am shocked :D

Well. I wish I had an update but... I have been waiting for an ebay CAI for over a week. It finally came in and it's the wrong one. They sent me the 99-00 si model, claiming it would fit the ex.... Doesnt make much sense seeing how the si is a b series and the intake mani is different. Needless to say, it would not fit. At all. I will be getting my money back and continue to be content with my short ram. Anyway. I was pissed. I want to paint my side skirts, but things keep getting in the way. Thats all...

Well, today i spent a good couple hours outside washing, clay barring, and waxing my civic. The car looks fantastic but I dont think the camera will pick up any difference and it seems like all i do is post pics of my car when it looks the same every time. lol

car looks good man. I like the wheels. At least you aint gotta worry as much about cleaning the brake dust off every 3 days!
