Since she isn't a member on here (not a big posted on forums), i'll keep this updated for her.
I went and picked up a puppy from a local ad. While picking out the pup that I wanted I noticed a Red CRX sitting by the garage. I asked what the deal was with it. Kid tells me its for sale for $350 but he would take $300 for it. I start looking it over and find that its a 91 SI. I call my gf up who is a car fanatic and has been wanting a project crx forever to see if she wants it. Like I really needed to ask lol, but she quickly replies back with "**** yes I want it"
It has honda rust starting on 1/4s but is litterally size of a quarter, dent on driver side 1/4 panel and surface rust starting on sunroof. It is missing the seats, dash has a Jager sticker on it and theres no motor/trans. Someone has done a Power Window/Lock conversion on it. Has a obd0-obd1 jumper harness already installed in it. Has B series linkage hooked up and a short throw.
Plans for it are built and boosted z6. Goal HP is 350-400whp (more then the gf needs lol). She wants to do a JDM front and fully shave/tuck bay.
Enough with talking lets get to the pics:

7/28/09: I had a set of Wings West side skirts laying around. My friend for some reason wanted them, so a little trading took place. The gf is paying me for the parts (she gets a killer deal on lol) I ended up with the following:
Rear Divider w/Carpet
Rear Cargo Cover (unbroken)
OEM Side Skirts w/Clips

7/27/09: The old saying "its not what you know, rather who you know" definitley applied today. The parts I got yesterday were taken to the local Honda dealership to be steam cleaned and dyed by a friend who is a detailer there. They turned out very good

8/3/09: Well I finally caught a break in the weather on one of my days off, where I could actually work on my car. Didn't do a ton but am pretty happy with what I did get done. The rear interior of the CRX was stripped to be cleaned. Any piece that has carpeting on it will be going to my friend who did the other pieces to be steam cleaned and dyed if need be. The rest of the plastic pieces received a good ol fashion cleaning courtesy of Armourall orange wipes. They were cleaned front, back, every little knoock and cranny was touched.
Got all the interior pulled out of the rear:
http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/Tacaras%20CRX/rearcrx3.jpg
Rear speaker covers could use a good dying:
http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/Tacaras%20CRX/rearcrx5.jpg
The dirtiest piece of the interior but not for long:
http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/Tacaras%20CRX/rearcrx6.jpg
The rear stripped of all plastic pieces and carpet. Look what was discovered under it all. Luckily there is no rust at all!! Also notice the stuffing on the sides, it had black mold growing in it:
http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/Tacaras%20CRX/rearcrx.jpg
All the stuffing removed from interior:
http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/Tacaras%20CRX/rearcrx4.jpg
Ah the plastic sure did clean up nice, my mission is to have one of the cleanest CRX's out there. I will post more pics of this tomorrow when better lighting is available:

Oh and just to tease my fellow CRX owners, look at those unbroken heater controls!!:

8/3/09: Today more interior pieces were dropped off to be vacumed, steam cleaned and dyed. They turned out just as good as the others. I only have pics of the rear speaker covers and storage compartments at the moment, the big cargo box is getting another coat of dye in the morning cause it was pretty nasty.

8/4/09: Things are coming along faster then I ever dreamed they would. A buddy of mine had a blown up z6 laying in the garage with rod knock. Since she (the gf) is wanting to build a motor this is the perfect canidate to be brought back to life. Best part was the $75 dollar price tag!!!
Also got the rest of the rear interior finished up being cleaned and dyed. I will get pics up tomorrow when better lighting its available. For now i'll leave you with a crappy one haha

As for motor plans, probably send it out to Laskey Racing. My GSR is out there being built and I am very pleased with Mike Laskey's customer service skills. Just depends on how balls deep the gf wants to get money wise lol

8/5/09: Started looking at the interior that was dyed last night and realized it didn't match up. Luckily our friend gave us a can of the correct color to fix it. Only problem is we ran out of it and wont get another can til monday lol.
Correct color is the dark shade:

The dye is HT-460 Charcoal Gray...couple coats and its exact of oem crx. Interior pieces don't feel crunchy.
Didn't get as much done today as she had hoped for. Did manage to get radiator pulled from engine bay and the rear speaker brackets pulled, then we ran out of light.
The one on the left is what they looked like before cleaning, and the one on right is after a nice Armourall bathhttp://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/Tacaras%20CRX/speakerpods.jpg

8/17/09: Got more goodies for the CRX today. The parts car we purchased actually came with a set of near mint CRX Si Seats. I did a little wheeling and dealing with my friend and got her a Z6 Dizzy and a Focuz Pink Cam Gear.

8/19/09: She is on a mission to do something to her car every day. It doesn't matter if its something as small as taking off the stock under hood carpeting area and redying it. Today she did just that and also helped me tear apart the parts car crx we purchased. From that parts car she got the following items for her project:
Dealer Optional Child Seat Lap Belt
Steering Wheel
Side Moldings for Doors
Lower Fender Moldings
Headliner (its in better shape then hers)
Engine Harness
Shift Linkage (parts car had D series, her car came with a b series one)
Mint 90-91 Seats
Anyways heres some pics from today (actually just 2 lol)

Let me get this thing back up to date. All post from now on will be the gf posting
9/26/09: Today Josh traded away his DA Integra to a buddy of his for a 90 Hatch with JDM B20 swap. I thought it was a good deal. Little did I know how good of a deal it would be for me...
12:15am and he is waking me up, a little pissed off at this I reluctantly head downstairs to see what his "suprise" for me is. Spread out on the floor in front of me is a complete JDM B20B swap. I am talking mounts, linkage, axles, transmission, motor everything. There is even a brand new clutch and header with highflow cat.
Now lets get some pics and details:
JDM B20b with 42k miles on it
91 LS transmission with 93k miles on it (came out of Josh's old CRX)
JDM CRX SIR Shift Linkage (came out of Josh's old CRX)
Brand New Autozone Axles
Enjo Motor Mounts...painted Pink (came out of Josh's old CRX)
XTD Stage 3 Clutch (will be replaced before swap)
Exedey 8lb Lightweight Flywheel
Ebay Header and Highflow cat (will only be used til boost lol)
Only thing I need for the swap is the rear trans bracket, alternator and distributor!!!
Now lets get to the pictures:
Engine (notice the valve cover was done just like Josh's old one haha):

10/1/09: Today I scored another freebie!! Josh's dad had bought an Energy Suspension bushing kit for his CRX, and only needed the rear bushings. That left the entire front end bushing kit unused and just sitting around collecting dust. Knowing I am doing a CRX build he decided to donate to the project lol.

10/8/09: Well I told you updates would come this week and goodies were going to be bought, I did not lie. The bf suprised me today buy going to the local Honda dealership and ordering me a set of OEM Rear Mudflaps, just gotta source a front pair now. Then I found a local company here in Ohio that sells 1/4 panel patch panels, picked up a set as well. Best news for me is both orders will be here tomorrow. Hoping to have 1/4 panels cut out and welded in by end of this month/beginning of next month. Will have pics tomorrow once parts arrive.

I really don't see the big deal, is it hurting you, are you going to die because there is two threads? If you answered yes to any of the above to questions maybe you should step away from your computer for a minute. Get a fucking life seriously. If its that big of a deal the mods will close one or the other. Until then i'll keep updating the threads :)
