fog light bulb size?

i got a fog light kit off ebay for my eg coupe and one of the bulbs blew out, do they need a special bulb? where can i get them?

they blew out cause theyre cheap as hell
so u might as well buy 2 of them and replace both of the lights.
i believe u will also have to rewire the bulds to have them fit
realy easy to do.
just look at the plug that it has
take a pim and pull out the male connector connecting it
and throw in your new bulbs connector
should fit without a problem and if u do run into a problem
nothing a soldering iron some heat shrink tubing and time cant fix.
make sure they also work before you put them all back together
u dont wanna put it all back together and find out they dont work.
you will have to basically disassemble the entire foglight
so steps
1 disconnect neg on bat
2 remove bumper
3 remove foglight
4 disassemble foglight
5 remove old light
6 removeconnector from plug
7 throw in new connector that bulb come swith
8 fit bulb into light and put the metal holding ring on
9 make sure the ground is still connected (just basically its screwed in shouldnt even have been removed)
10 commect battery
11 test make sure it works if it works awesome ur done just reassemble foglight
12 if it doesnt check ur wiring

I have PIAA H3 Plasma Yellow bulbs, & i feel like the can be brighter. Deff getting h.i.ds as soon as i can.

im thinking it was cuz the bulbs were cheap too, and they were kinda dull so ive been wanting some new ones anyways
does anyone have HID's? how much do they run for? i have 8000k's for my headlights but im not sure if it would be worth it for fog lights.. i cant even see them when my headlights are on anyways lol

You will see them if you get H.i.Ds fah yah fogs.

an easier way to replace them is to take the front cover off, then it should be 3 screws to remove the housing from the bracket. then just unscrew the bottom piece.

how many K's would yellow bulbs be? and would i have to buy a conversion kit for them? like the headlights..

i dunno about the k's but if you do hid you will definately need the ballasts. unless you just do a upgraded bulb like the sylvania silverstar or something similar. im getting napa's version of the silverstars for mine tomorrow.

yeah i got sylvania silverstar ultra's for my other car and love them, so ill probably just go with those and save a buck

If you have Clear Lenses get 2500K . If you have Yellow Lenses get anywhere from 5-10,000K or higher . But fyi, anything past 8,000K is just more color nd less distance.

Tspny.com has pretty good ones they're water proof so u don't gotta worry about them getting wet like 60-70 each

just buy the piaa ion yellow bulbs..thats what i have and there fine..they could be brighter but then u would prolly get pulled over...i have 4300k hid headligts and i can still see my fogs(ebay kit with piaa bulbs)

Just pull your old bulb out, and go in the store and compare them so you know what to buy.
