So, after having my EK sedan for over 5 years, I decided its time to move on. Onto something different and not so comon. So, I found this baby on a local forum, and fell in love with it. So, I went and picked it up. Everything checked out, and I trailered it home, 40 something miles. Southern driven car, garaged in the winters. Not a spot of rust on the frame.

'94 del Sol S
stock D15b7 with 218k on it, and it runs like its brand new!

Heres a short mod list:

Tokico Blue struts
Tein S tech springs
Blue billet aluminum rear lower control arms
front lower sway bar
14" American Racing Rims with Honda center caps
Mugen replica steering wheel
Type R replica shift boot
DA maplights

Here's the only picture I have of it that I took. Sorry its at night and from my cell phone. Once I get her all cleaned up, I'll take her out for a real shoot. So for now, here's a teaser.

Long term plans are a boosted y8 with a goal of 300whp.
Short term plans include painting back to blue (previous owner painted it black, and left the engine bay/jams the original color and it bugs the hell out of me so its getting re-painted hopefully this summer), some new rims, and a FULL detail.

Coolant flush
Cleaned interior
Denso Iridium TT spark plugs

Eran's del Sol is quite legit, though. Thats just the way ClubCivic is. Anyone with JDM parts on their car, will have followers. I actually looked through his thread to get some idea's for my Sol. I wont be putting $2000 rims on mine, but still..... :lol:

See, it really dosent. It takes up maybe 4-5" of trunk space. IMO, the trunk is huge compared to the size fo the car itself. So it really has alot of trunk space. :what:

Yea, I hear ya. If I was out west more, I would just leave the top home on nice days. I dont trust the weather out here in NY tho. Even during the summer time. It will be nice all day, then it'll rain for 10 min, then be nice for the rest of the day. :lol:

i know it's ridiculous but hey it's better than a moon roof that just slides open, that's for sure.

Since its a base model "S", theres no rear speakers. I wanna get some put in, but Honda wants like $60 PER BRACKET for them. So, Im gonna keep an eye out, and eventually get some rear speakers go to along with the two in the doors. :thumbs up

One placed right under the radio bucket *trust me it sounds awesome; no one saw it and it helped*,

and the other somewhere behind the center console bucket *I put a little thick foam piece between the tweeter and the grill that holds it in cause that one placed in the center a little behind you hurts ur ears if u don't muffle it a little.

and get the bass tube *forgot the name of it but you get where im getting it.

The yellow on the Aux lights is painted on. I wanna get all new OEM headlights, corner markers, and aux lights. Ive been pondering getting a bumper w/out the aux light holes, and just get rid of the aux lights all together. Dont know yet though.

Im getting my exhaust fixed today and then my torque mounts should be here tomorrow. this weekend my car should be ready to go anywhere.

Yea, it'll fit. You'll have to prolly pull the head and tranny off the block, and do it that way. I'll be meetin you out there w/the Sol, so if it'll fit in the back of the sol, it'll definately fit in the back of a Civic. :lol:

So am I, Shaun. My entire back/ass got SOAKED installing it yesterday. When I started, it was decent out. By the time I got the new 'part' in and ready to be bolted, it started raining out pretty good. It's not like I could of just stopped... And comfy as shit! I love it. The ONLY thing I don't like, is how high up it sits compared to a OEM del Sol seat. My knees almost touch the steering wheel in the Recaro. I need to find a low profile seat rail...

Small update. Mounted the Mugen lip, and removed the Aux lights since they never worked (kept blowing bulbs) and to help feed cooler air into the engine bay. Got a little project I'm working on with that, too. Will post up pics when I'm all finished! Here's a 'teaser' pic, I guess. And YES, there is a black grill mesh in the holes where the Aux lights were. It's not just open space.
