alright so i have a 96 civic hx. its the d16y5 engine and i have a z6 head that has been ported with new cams. it also has a custom vibrant sound axleback exhaust with a short ram intake. can anyone tell me how much HP i will have now? it doesnt have to be exact i just was curious on about how much my car might have... im also at some point going turbo. i would appreciate the help.

youve maybe add 40hp, the zc combustion chamber is the same as the y5, if you would have gone with the y8, you would have added maybe 55-65, but ya didnt, you went for cooling, which could have been acheived with a daul core radiator, or even the b series style radiator.also you didnt state what kind of cams you installed, new OEM ZC cams, skunk 2's, crowers,write a full informative sent. and maybe someone wil answer you. OR find a dyno and fork out the cash.

I say 10-15 hp at most. The hp difference between the z6 and the y5 isn't that much and it depends on what spec the cams are at as well

i could not personally answer the question even with all the info.. but the cam specs are critical in getting ANY useful answer.. there are very mild street cams.. and then there are very aggressive race cams.. saying "it has a cam" is about as detailed as saying "my car has an engine"
