My First Honda! Ej6 build

Ok, so ive been on this site for about a month now and i decided, hey. Why not start my own project thread? :D

I'll probably only post past updates like a week apart so i dont run out of new material. lmao

To begin: my car is a 99 honda civic dx 5 spd. It came with the stock d16y7. It's technically my second car but the first car i had was only a loner. When i woke up with this car in my drive way... i couldnt believe my eyes. an ek coupe was, and still is, my dream car! (:

I remember the first civic i ever saw... or at least, one that had been worked on, was a brown em1 boosted.. lucky me, i was riding the school bus back home watching in utter wonder... it was on white rota slips and dumped! i never saw anything so amazing haha i was 15 at the time and i knew.. a i wanted to drive a honda.

so anyways, we picked my civic up for 5k and well... i think we were ripped off but hey. dads, who can blame them? :p haha when we first got it it had about 112xxx miles on it back in... july 2010? yeah haha a while ago. since then ive had it for a while now and its gone thorugh some... ups and downs but hey its my car and i love it. plans? well, my goal is to have a sexy ass clean ek fool!.

and finally a side view. nothing really was done to the engine.... except the power steering and a/c were taken out ha. but hey, i was so happy. and well i guess it was a pretty good base for a project car!

well, as you will see in coming posts... some bad stuff happened to my car ): but! my plans are to get my body all straightened out. an si lip. slap a y8 head on. chip it. boost. lsd. ect. im still in highschool and only work during the summer... so its going to be a work in progress but hope fully one day (:

ok im sorry guys, i know i said friday but i took the SAT this saturday and have been just... busy the whole weekend ): but better late than never!

ok so... yeah this was my... "cheesy" stage... haha so dont laugh. ok? ive grown and just keep in mind this was back in... august of 2010... but hey, we all went through a phase like this i feel..

i was just happy to actually buy the first ever parts on my car. with my money that i made from my first job! as a lot boy at a honda dealership (;
