New engine for 1996 DX

I have a 96 DX and am wanting a new engine. Ive been told the b18c1 is a good one for my car. Any suggestions?

Hahaha I love the post with the Cummings. But seriously if your going to drop a ton of money into your car go with the B18C1... In my opinion its the best engine Honda ever made. If you want power on a budget go with the D series engine, there cheaper and can build pretty good power. You have the D16Y7 engine at the moment im assuming if your car is stock. And thats not a bad engine to build. If you want the B18C1, you can spend around 5-6 thousand on the swap, ecu, shift linkage, axles, and transmission.
