Just got my first civic. I'm more of a v8 kinda guy and never actually thought I would own a civic. Now that I work 50 miles away from home I decided to get one because of the MPG. I now understand why civic drivers are civic drivers for life. Its a pretty good little car. Not so much power that you eat tires but just enough to get on the highway and go. Picked this up yesterday ill post more pics but I just snapped one real quick.

Welcome,,, I was the same way till I bought my first one in 1991. It was a SI hatch and after a bunch of bolt on's it turned into a high 12 sec car and still got 35mpg. Enjoy it and dont worry you will be adding mod's soon lol

It has some mods. Skunk2 intake, skunk2 4-1 exhaust manifold. Some stupid ebay cold air intake. Aem fuel rail. Motor mounts, apexi world sport2 exhaust. Four wheel discs some short throw. Tien coilover I think they were tien. Si gauge cluster, interior is strange. Seats are in great conditon but the headliner is lois vatton(spelling) material..

I forgot, its a b16, red top cam cover (if that matters) super clean. The engine being so clean was the only reason I got it.

The guy said under 100k which means over 100k. I think I might rebuild it, I think it might be burrning oil. If I rebuild it least I will know what's wrong. It also has a timing belt/water pump squeel that I need to take care of. Needs paint badly, and the front fascia and drivers side front panel bolted down. Luckly I know a damn good body guy that will do it for cheap. Ill post some detailed pictures tomorow.

Engine photos, the car for sure burning oil. Three weeks and ill rebuild the entire thing from the ground upp. Anything I need to know, specific things I should replace that are known for problems?
