How Do You Realistically Paint Rims??

i desperately wanna know how do paint my silver wheels bronze/gunmetal or any other color...i can't find how to do it realistically

take it to someone to do it... im not sure how much it will cost you but for 14 in rims its around $100

powder coat em. it is cheaper than one may think. $50 to sandblast and treat all 4 wheels, and $50 to powder coat. the shit is strong as hell and u can actually scrub your wheels and dont have to worry bout carrying extra spray cans in ur car to touch them up after going to the wash. its well worth the 100-150 dollars. if not, get some krylon, take your wheels off, and spray away. use many coats, and be gentle, spray lightly. move the angle of the wheels after you are done painting so u get all the area covered.

oh , and there is no end to the colors with powdercoating...trust me, its a bitch to decide....

^^ i was thinking about doing the same thing to my new teggy 5 star rims, i wonder what color would look good in them, i was thinkung like a gunmetal or a flat black would look good

i SPRAY PAINTED my rims , only took 3 hours , i used Black "Hammer" Paint and some Tape, and it came out Grrrrrreat! Very Cheap , Quick , DIY style.

Hammer = Textured Paint , FYI , looks very professional if done right.

If you have stock alloys, you can sand them, spray paint them, then clear coat them. Simple, yet effective.
