Hell yeah I just finished this week my b16a2 swap ed 92 hatch. I freakin love it alot of hard work cause i pulled two motors and then put the b16 back in , in 2 days 12 hour days working, but it was well worth it . I will post pics tonight or tomorrow. I have to gwet the valves adjusted they seem to be loud when i accelerate.hmmmm anyways i have a virgin p28 in the car right now is thier any advantage to have the p72 in or should i chip what i have or just leave it alone .

you should chip the p28 for the p30 program. because the p28 don't have the right ignition and fuel map for b16a. as for the p72 it for gsr motor it have the fuel map for dual butterfly . p72 better then p28 but p28 chipped better then p72 for you current motor

well my plans right now is to finish getting the bugs worked out on the motor just running into the common problems when you swap I think i am just going to bring it to my local honda dealer and just tell them to do a over all tune up and check everything out. One thing i am stumped on is that i put 95 gsr axles on the car and i already see a little axle grease on my passenger side hmmm why would it already loose some when they are brand new i can use 95 gsr non abs axles right?

Nice. I know it has nothing to do with the engine, but I really like the black GSR rims.

Did you have the same problems? This was a post i had put up a few months ago.
A 00 civic SI engine (B16A2) an OBD2 which when I got the motor it had the stock wiring harness with it, but I have a 92 civic hatch CX which is an OBD1 vehicle, but it’s always easier to convert backwards rather than forward... (OBD2-OBD1) rather than (OBD1-OBD2) right? So thinking that what I did was get a 95 civic EX wiring harness which is OBD1 with a 95 GSR dizzy which is also OBD1, also 95 GSR injectors and a 95 P72 so it would become plug and play. For the most part it worked it ran good but I was concerned about my dizzy because I had to advance it all the way forward to match up my timing to stock specs (used a timing gun) but I never adjusted the cams or even took the valve cover off, so what I assumed it was, was the GSR dizzy (OBD1 right?) but im no expert I have only done a few swaps and we never converted OBD’s before so this was a new project. But I must say the motor ran good but I don’t think we got all the potential power out-put and No the engine is totally stock and I have never played with the cams at all but we had the dizzy set in the middle where it should be at stock specs but I was burning plugs left and right so we checked the timing with a timing gun and found it was off so we adjusted the timing by way of the dizzy and according to the timing gun the timing was right on when the dizzy was advanced all the way forward and the car ran 100 times better i stopped burning plugs but I still wonder about the dizzy so far advanced...? So I have been looking all over different sites to see if anyone else has done this swap also so I could get some insight. Justin...
