My car is burping...?

yeah i just got home and went out for a spin...and usually when i take the car out after its been sitting for awhile (about a month) a deeper sound comes from the exhaust with a lil smoke and some black soot and the pickup is a lil bad but after a few miles it sorts itself out...

well this time it didnt...it made this horrible throaty sound all the way down to rutgers and back ... the pickup seemed to drop a lot. Its almost as if the turbo wasnt spooling but the gauge was showing boost fine. when i got home i let it sit for an hour or two and then took it out again...it was fine for about 2 minutes and then it started up making this weird noise again. It sounds like its got something in its throat yaknow like when you step on the thottle the exhaust burps. Im thinking it could jsut be the weather n im gonna go out tomorrow and take it for a spin...just wondering if any of you guys experienced this

either you have to much fuel or your out of timing

yeah its fine now ... i have an EMS that was tuned so thats why it was bothering me a lil...i ran it at 30mph in 2nd gear for a mile to get the engine heated up and now its running fine...i think maybe the plugs were carboned up or something

you need to change your plugs, if youre running turbo, on a sohc, make sure you have #6s, and if you have a dual cam make sure they are #7s. gap them @ .030
