Um... did anyone ever think that it's FAKE! I mean, he basically popped out of 4th or faked the gear, and then all that happens in the camera goes around in a circle around the INSIDE of the car. It would be really easy to edit in the sound of a crash. Incidentally, did anyone else notice that there is the sound of crunching but no damage to the car? And the "oh shit, oh shit" sounds pretty fake to me too.

The kid posted the video up. He was looking for sympathy, but everyone just made fun of him... serves him anyways. He was making dumb posts like "short shifters can kill you".

From what I got, he missed, went into second, the car lunged/swerve ... he panicked, slam on brakes and lost control. Then instead of being quiet about it, posts it up and blames the short shifter.

As weird as this might sound, I don't think you can loose control shifting into 2nd at 80, the worst that can happen is the engine hits the rev-limiter and the car slows down. now here’s the crazy part, I’ve heard that shifting into reverse can case you loose control, maybe that’s what happened.
