ran with an 8th gen coupe on the interstate...fun,fun

I meant to post this the day it happend but I got sidetracked with my alternator issues etc etc. On my way back from my parents on I-40 I noticed an 8th gen coming up on me at a pretty quick pace. At first I thought it was my boy Bryant who picked up an 8th gen sedan right when they hit the showrooms. So I kinda wave at the guy. Then I think maybe he wants to kick it because he's still on my ass and I'm doing around 75. So I drop into 3rd, hit 85 slam into 4th and topped fourth gear at 120, into fith and pulled into the ther lane and shut it down. He flew by then pulled off into a reststop. I pulled in behind him. We talked for a few minutes, he asked me what I had done and I spent five minutes or so checking out the car. It was the first coupe I'd seen in person. This guy's new ride was a fully loaded ex. It was nice. I'm so pissed I'd forgotten my cell at home or I'd have taken some pics. It was black and had the factory gunmetal wheels. Anyway, that was my first encounter with the new coupe.

i applogize if this post is in the wrong area....i just wasn't sure where it should go.

Yeah, I like the way the coupes look as well.... The first time I saw one I tried to stay behind it as long as I could so I could keep looking at it.... But I was on my way to work, so I couldn't stay too long.... :P

well i was in front of him so it really wasn't a race. we were just having fun. like i said ( i think i mentioned this) he was on his way back from charlotte on his way to Asheville after taking delivery of the car. So he was wanting to stretch it's legs. It was just fun. That's why I wasn't sure where to put this post.
