i currently have a D15B7, it should work if i just do a head swap to a z6 right? because it wasn't sure after some research, i'm not sure if the outcome would work... d15z6? didn't sound right haha, so if i just do the head swap... what is a reasonable price with installtion? thanks

Can and has been done over and over. It's called a mini me swap but I don't know the " How To's " of it. Should'nt cost mush seeing as a complete swap runs around 400.

i did this but i used a y5 block with a z6 head. the parts should cost about 300 bucks to 500. thats including a new head gasket and fluids. the installation is quite simple,do it yourself its good for expierience. just get a manual to help out and to have all of the torque specs.heres a list of what youll need
complete z6 head(intake mani,injecters,all sensors,throttle body, vtec solonoid,and vtec oil pressure switch)
new intake and exhaust mani gaskets
head gasket
z6 timing belt will be a little tight but you can use it or get a vx belt which might be a little loose but is still safe
p28 or p30 ecu
roll of 16 gauge wire
plugs for vtec solonoidand pressure switch or you can ghetto rig it
one degree colder spark plugs( i used plugs from a hx)
oil and antifreeze
some honda bead or other high temp sealant
a day or two free time, thats about all i can think of.while youve got every thing torn apart you might want to spring for a s20 or s40 tranny, new clutch and flywheel. i did mine like 3 or 4 months ago and dont have any problems besides my valve seals being shot. good luck
