yeah, you only have to go to radio shack and buy 2 ultrabrigth white leds for each ring, they cost like about 4 or 5 bucks a pair.
then all you need to do is thake off the headlight cover, I know it sounds hard but I'll give you a trick take the hair blower of your girlfriend and start heating the silicone that goes around and start pulling it, that will make the trick, and just look for the leds that are in the top of the ring, and change it that it put the cover again (heat the glue again) and thats it .
by the way I'm doing a car club here in NJ, were do you live at?
you want to join us??

thanx a lot man, i've been asking in a lot of places and they havent been able to tell me. but i have one more question.
my friend bought his lights and he got this cable that he connects, am thinking from light to light to help prevent bulb burnouts. my bulbs have burned out once on each side and i just went today to this speedshop and they told me they dont know anything about the cable. do u know what cable it is that i am talking about?
so should i just ask for 2 ultrabright white leds at radioshack or do they have some kind of #?

that cable is a jumper cable, its lets the projectors stay on when you flash the highs. some companies have them, some dont.

so the jumper cable will help prevent burnouts?

i just bought the angel eye projectors as well, what the heck do you do with the angel eye wires, i'm assuming that's what they are - but the wires that are dangling from the unit, where do they go?

the wires that you are talking about am guessing are in red and black color right?
well if am right you have to connect those wires to the corner light wires. red with red and black with black.
real easy install.
good luck

How dependable are halos. Are burn out's common?

Kjeldor, instead of the lows turning off when you flash highs, the jumper lets them stay on. thats it.
AnimlMother, check PM. red to parking wire on corner, ground black
WardsWarrior, i have had mine for over half a year and no complaints. only problem was when i bought some crap projector bulbs (h3 bulbs) that kept blowing. took me 4 tries to find a set that i like that still last. but that was crap i bought, no probs with the lights.

they are just APC h3 bulbs from pep boys(have 30 day warranty if they did blow, i liked that). they were supposed to be temp, but i decided to keep them. at first i bought some green bulbs from eurodesignz, but they blew in a week. i got another set for free under warranty, blew in a week. i needed a quick set so i could drive at night until i got another set, so i just went to pep boys (only place that night that had h3's) and got these apc bulbs until i got a new set. but i decided not to get any more euro's b/c i didnt like the fact that i watched each bulb burn out... as i was driving at night!!! so i just stuck with these and they are whiter than the stock, but still not a bright as i would like. i either getting some fogs, or just gonna remove the hats to help with lighting.

I'm lookin for Halo's too. They take the same bulbs as stock lights, correct? I wanna get the silverstars because my father has them, and they're great.

No, the stock was H4 or 9003 ( i think ) and my halo's are H1. But the side ( amber ) lights were the same. And if you want to change the bulbs put in first before you put the headlight in the car... I bought the silverstars but can't install it until i take the headlights out again. :???:

all the halo projectors i know take either h3 or h1 bulbs, which are usually fog light bulbs. thats the reason they suck so much. im currently trying to convert my h3 projector into h1 to make them a little brighter. either that or im gonna remove the hats on the bulbs so there is no cut-off of light.

When you do that, make sure that they have a good seal on them. If not when it rains your light will fog up from the inside and that will cause your bulbs to blow also. When i bought my Halo's they had a bad seal from factory and my bulbs blew out the first time we had a good little rain.

yeah I forgot to mention that , and is true, that happen to some people, and even when they bought them they don't come with a good seal, and you only need to ask for a bright white led in radio shack.
I also recomend you to change the other bulbs for apc's because the ones that came with the proyectors from factory always blow up within a couple of weeks.
so good luck with the proyectors.
and enjoy them.

mine's foggin too but only the driver side one. I think mine is caused by bad placement on the bumper, 'cause i crash something and havn't fixed it. Gotta buy a new clip of the bumper.
