b16 in a delsol?

im new here and i want to geta delsol because there was a model that came with a b16, if i get like a S, or an Si and put a b16 in it could i not get in trouble by the cops? cause im movin to california soon and i heard cops are strict out there.

or you could just look for a del-sol vtec which has a b16a3, as far as doing a swap i believe you have to do one in the same year or newer as far as the motor goes

dont forget has to be able to emmissions.. alot of Japanese engines dont pass :)

i trid but theyre all like 7-8000 and if not theyre modified, or have alot of miles, i want one stock.

same or newer and jdm will not pass, or if you find a usdm p30 to take the test w/ ;)

ahh search around but they are pricy esp for a usdm one round 125+ and its obd1 ;)

yea some ppl there can be annoying, thats why i'm primarily here, are you really set on the b16?? in all honesty save your $$ and get the gsr swap, another member "stealthy" on here has a delsol w/ gsr swap (well should be in by now) the gsr responds better to mods and you gain some torque fo sho ;)
